Tonya Haley of Haley’s Honey Meadery, is a special needs teacher and beekeeper who restored an historic site in Hopewell, VA to start making and selling mead. Shayla Varnado, an author, entertainer, and entrepreneur, is founder of the Black Girls Wine Society, an international women’s club where black women gather to indulge in the luxury of wine and sisterhood. Shayla is also the host of her own podcast - Black Girls Wine: Wine Down LIVE Podcast. Gwen Hurt, owner of Shoe Crazy Wine, a winemaker and distributor featured in national chains such as Walmart and Costco. Her advice to women everywhere: catch life’s curveballs and throw them back!
